Welcome

It is necessary to strengthen moral and ethical values of our society in order to establish just social order. There is no better way of doing this than propagation of Vedic Wisdom including knowledge of astrology. The council was therefore formed in November 1984, with a goal to establish an All Indian Body and to ensure progress in astrological studies.

ICAS is a formal registered Apex body of top notch astrologers of the country involved in imparting education, certification and examination of true Vedic astrology to the aspirants. Apex body is famous for its reach and centers across the country. Founded by Dr B V Raman and now Headed By Justice S N Kapoor, ICAS has a credit of Re-establishing and making people believe again in astrology in post independent India.

Basic Astrology Course

This is a one year basic course of Astrology. This course starts with the basic elements of astrology and then moves towards the advance topics. Karma Theory, astronomy and mathematics section prove the scientific aspect of astrology where as the predictive section explains the real essence of astrology. This course consists of two semesters of two papers each. After this course one can start making predictions.

Advance Astrology Course

This is a one year advance course of Astrology. This course beacons the complicated topics and other streams of astrology. Topics like Horary, Medical Astrology, Longevity etc. strengthens the practical aspect of astrology. Mundane astrology gives a wider horizon as this talks about the world than the individual. This course consists of two semesters of three papers each.

Resarch Programme

This is a 2 year research program. Candidates who have passed out Jyotish Visharad regular course are eligible for this research program. This research program can be done under the guidance of approved guides by ICAS

Future Plans

The aim of ICAS is to enrich the astrology soul throughout the world. The council is determined to make universal acceptance of astrology through regular courses, correspondence courses and distance learning courses and on-line courses in astrology. For the fulfillment of this aim council has the target of opening more and more astrology training centers, introducing part time courses and training courses for the practicing astrologers. ICAS wants to establish an e-university for providing support to astrology schools, courses education and study courses and to provide astrology degree.
