Jyotish Praveen Basic Astrology Course of ICAS

This is a one year basic course of Astrology. This course starts with the basic elements of astrology and then moves towards the advance topics. Karma Theory, astronomy and mathematics section prove the scientific aspect of astrology where as the predictive section explains the real essence of astrology. This course consists of two semesters of two papers each. After this course one can start making predictions.

Duration : 1 year
Place of Study : Through any chapter situated in major cities of India
Medium : Hindi, Kannada & English;
Classes : On Sundays/ Saturday (if holiday)
Examination Scheme : Examination are held twice a year in June and December at the respective examination centre. Examinations are held on second Saturdays and Sundays.
Eligibility for Examination
  • Age must be 18 years
  • Candidate should be a Life Member of Indian Council of Astrological Sciences.
  • Candidate must have passed SSLC examination of equivalent thereto.

  4. Sixteen Tajika Yogas, their calculation and interpretation with examples.
PART - II DASA & BASIC TRANSIT PART - II MUHURTA
  1. Vimshottari dasa calculation and interpretation of Dasa, Antardasa and Pratyantra Dasa with reference of basic (Rasi) chart, for easy identification of the probable events.
  2. Basics of Transit and Transit of slow moving planets.
